An EXTREME Night is planned to celebrate the January 16th premiere!
Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of the Coastal Empire and Jim and Carmen Simpson will host a Share the Night VIP Reception celebration prior to the premiere of the ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition show airing Sunday, January 16th, 2011.
The premiere at Trustees Theatre is open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit RMHC. Due to conflicting events, the cocktail party scheduled for 1/15/2011 has been cancelled. Everyone purchasing tickets for the party will be contacted by RMHC for a refund. Anyone wishing a refund of the Trustees Theatre admission may also contact RMHC at 912-350-7641- otherwise this fee will be considered a donation.

Congratulations Simpson Family!!!
Carmen and Jim Simpson give back to their Savannah community at every turn as they raise three children, Zoë, Katelyn and Isaac. Zoë, the youngest, is their “miracle baby,” having beaten the odds after being born with a life-threatening disease. So on Friday, November 12, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition surprised the family with the news that they had been chosen as the recipients of a full home makeover! The Simpson Family has designated the Ronald McDonald House Charities as their charity of choice. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the family or in honor of the family may do so through the RMHC. ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
Rolls into Savannah!
If “home is where the heart is,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” puts the heart right where it belongs, and this time that’s right here in Savannah, Georgia!
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is coming to Savannah to achieve the impossible: Build a brand new home in only a week and change the life of a Savannah family forever.
This November, Ty Pennington and his bus will cruise down to the Georgia Coast to give back to a family that has itself given so much to the community. Local builder J.T. Turner Construction is honored to join with “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in this historic project, which will involve volunteers from all over the region and donated materials from local companies.
Come join Ty and his crew as they “move that bus” through Savannah and into the life of a local family.
But to do this, they need the help of the entire Savannah community and surrounding areas. There are many ways to help, from cheering on the team to helping feed the build team. Whatever way you choose to help, your involvement will make a difference in the life of a deserving family. No matter how old or how young, how big or how small, YOU can be part of this amazing experience!
